Bob and Greg met
in church and started playing music together in November of 2003
when Bob joined Greg in the praise band. In 2005, they began
playing classic rock hits from the 60's and 70's at private parties
under the band name 'Geezer'. In 2007, they both stepped out
of the praise band, but continued playing as 'Geezer' in
local coffee shops and restaurants around Newnan and Sharpsburg,
GA. In early 2008, they released a CD of original Christian music
called "Touched By The Hand of The Master" which you can
listen to above.
In November of 2009, guitarist Guy Charpentier, joined Bob and Greg
and the band name was changed to 'Easy 85'. The group
played out from August of 2010 though October of 2011.
What's New
For some time Bob
and Greg have been interested in adding percussion to the band's
sound. Bob recently met a percussionist named Joel Morley who
joined Easy 85 in March of 2012. Joel's congas fit in perfectly
with the acoustic format providing a solid rhythm without requiring
amplification of the guitars or vocals.
Over the coming weeks we will be incorporating percussion into
our fans' favorite songs from the Easy 85 repertoire and, as
always, adding new songs.
